Private Retreat

In a stately historical house in Amsterdam South EVM Design created a private space for the owner, an art collector. She was looking for a retreat in her own home for entertaining guests, work and quiet solitude.
The multifunctional wall gives room for art display and at the same time forms a light object in itself and holds (hidden) space for a desk and TV. A modern approach was chosen that contrasts the historical context of the house.
